Stacey Spell, General Manager of Oakwood, requested we do all designs in
yellow and orange colors. We selected gerbera daisies for their vivid
color, and augmented them with sunflowers, green amaranthus for style, oncidium
orchids and the tropical tritoma for the smaller pieces. The larger pieces
were build around King Protea, tropical palm leaves and Birds of Paradise.
As the theme was Hollywood Nights, we also located old reels of film
and inserted into the small tables for the lounging area, as well as the tall
cocktail table pieces to promote integration of the theme and conversation.
